Delivery charges are in addition to the prices quoted.  Where delivery charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance an additional charge my be payable.

Payment can be made using most major credit cards including American Express, Paypal and cheque.

Items will be posted within 3 days of order, unless otherwise agreed. Delivery within the UK and the EU should be within a further five days. There is no liability for failure to deliver within the estimated timescale.

Customers have the right to cancel any contract with York Modern Books if they notify us by letter, post or e-mail within 14 days.
We will reimburse without delay and not later than 14 days after receiving the items back. We will bear the cost of returning goods.
We may withhold repayment until we have received the goods. The customer is liable for any diminished value of the item resulting from handling.

Customer within the EU will be sent a Right to Cancel form with every purchase.

Customers have the right to return items not as described within 30 days. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), and although any complaints should be taken up with us in the first instance matters can be referred to ABA and its Standards Committee.
