Limited edition; 4to; original white paper-backed marbled boards. No 50 of an edition of no more than 200 copies. Signed and dated by John Mason, 1960. On the limitation page Masson notes that "this book comprises a collection of sheets of paper which I made by hand, at my small Twelve by Eight Mill in Leicester, from a variety of plants and fabrics. Artists and craftsmen printer friends helped me to make this a presentable and informative volume. There will be no more than 200 copies and no two will be quite alike. Commenced in 1958 they will be issued individually over a period as and when I complete each binding." This copy includes an image designed, cut and printed by Blair Hughes-Stanton. Fine in original mylar jacket and a wraparound chemise. A Rigby Graham bookplate on front pastedown.
