Sketchbook; 26cm by 18cm; original hand decorated cloth boards. Thirty eight well executed pencil portraits of 'A' Section of No 1 Mobile AA Battery, Tankerton. Inscription to the front pastedown reads " Men of my section drawn by Gn J Roney as a memento of the war Sep/November 1918". Each of the portraits is signed by Roney and by the sitter. The set includes a self portrait. Fine, except for two loose pages. Also included is a real photographic postcard of the unit.
