Description: Original morocco boards; 8vo; top edge gilt; lettered in gilt. Inscribed by Nurse O'Kelly on the free endpaper. A remarkable World War One document, a compilation of anecdotes and quotations, photographs, cuttings and illustrations. Particularly striking are a number of portraits presumably of O'Kelly. Only one is illustrated here but more can be supplied on request. The 4th London General Denmark Hill had beds for 300 officers and 1625 other ranks.
A Neurological section was established by early 1915, acting as clearing hospital for these cases. Very good some wear to the extremities, fine internally.
