Description: Limited edition; original quarter cloth and a repeat pattern paper based a design by Clare Melinsky, 75mm by 120mm. This is one of 100 copies of the Special Edition containing 44 stamps and housed in a box made by Stephen Byrne replicating a Victorian English postbox. This edition contains dummy stamps using unadopted designs by Andrew Davidson & Clare Melinsky. John Lawrence designed a new one for the book, and all three were printed by Juergen Schwarz at Your Stamps, Berlin. "Stamps have been described as miniature ambassadors, tiny national symbols." A lovely little book. Fine.
