Description: Mimeographed radioscript for the BBC Third Programme production. Fulscap, bound in quarter blue morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. Spine lettering in gilt, all edges gilt. Signed by the producer Douglas Cleverdon on the title page. Two photographs of Thomas taken during rehearsals are pasted to the front endpapers. A rare copy of the first full printing of Thomas's "Play for Voices". Under Milk Wood, was first broadcast on 25th January 1954. The script records that it was pre-recorded the day before transmission. Near fine, a few marks to front board and filing holes to top left corner of the script.
