Description: Foreword by Alan Powers. Limited edition; 4to; original cloth boards done by the Fine Bindery, Wellingborough and slipcase. One of 650 copies of this two-volume book for sale. An additional 100 copies were given to contributors. The volumes were designed by Simon Lawrence who set the text in Miller Display, and the book was printed by Northend Creative Print Solutions of Sheffield. The paper is PhoeniXmotion Xantur. The book and its companion Ravilious at War show all the known paintings by Eric Ravilious, along with a great deal of his other design work, together with much of his correspondence which survives.
