Description: First combined edition; 8vo; original cloth boards. The first edition sheets of the two books with their original title leaves excised and new half titles and title leaf for the volume inserted. Chiswick Press printed 500 copies of the new titles, however the rare occurrence of the composite volume in comparison with its separate components indicates that fewer than the intended number were issued. Very good, with some foxing to the edge of the text block and to some pages. A very nice copy of a very scarce book. Gallup A7b.
