Description: Foreword by Hassan Ragab. Limited edition; 8vo; bound in natural goatskin, with coloured goatskin onlays, binders stamp dated 1976. Cloth covered fold over box with paper label. Edition of 495 copies, signed by Ian O'Casey, paper-maker and A.S. Maney, printer. This is copy number 495. Handmade paper, with a sample of genuine papyrus. The illustrations are by Harry Bradley. Trevor Jones was a founder member of the Guild of Contemporary Bookbinders and, after they became Designer Bookbinders, was their President from 1983-85. Jones retired from St John's College, York in 1984 and has since concentrated on binding. Jones has exhibited widely in Britain and internationally, and his bindings can be found in institutions and private collections in the UK, Europe and the USA. Fine.
