Description: First edition; 8vo; original card stapled wrappers, bound in red cloth. Signed by the author on the verso of the half title. Lee states that 'this poet's voice reverberates with the resonance of the Cotswold Highlands, with all the smooth-wrapped hardness of mess-dressed stone. But the special value, to me, of this present volume, is that it collects and preserves, for those who care about such things, a kind of poetry that may not be seen again.' Both the cloth binding and the original wrappers are fine, there is previous owner's library sticker to the front paste down.
