This Diary was kept by Lawrence while on a journey through Syria in 1911. It was not published during his lifetime, but in a limited edition of 203 copies by the Corvinus Press in 1937. This edition was commissioned by the author's brother A.W. Lawrence in order to secure U.S. copyright. Near fine.[O'Brien A195].
