Description: First edition; 8vo; original limp lambskin and dust jacket; gilt decoration to spine and gilt device to front board. Signed by the author on the title page, with a presentation inscription on the front free end paper by the author, 'to F Talbot Ponsonby at Batemans Burwash Sussex. Aug 1919.' Very good, head of spine bumped, wear to foot of spine and to the corners, very light spotting to the page edges, dust jacket, faded to spine, loss to head and foot of spine, small chip to rear panel.
