Description: First edition; 8vo; original cloth boards and dust jacket. A signed presentation copy. Inscribed on the half title, "For Martha with love from Henderson - 14th May 1947". Hamilton used the name Henderson when he briefly went on the stage during what he called his 'nerve-wracking, ill-adjusted, wretched early youth'. Fine in a fine dust jacket, just a little creased at the top of the spine and a little wear to the extremities. A very nice copy.
