Description: First edition; 8vo; original brown boards and first issue dust jacket. Presentation copy, signed on the half title page, "for Richard Platt, John Fowles". Fine copy, slightly bumped at the foot of the spine and small mark to the edge of the text. The dust jacket is very good a little worn at the foot of the spine and a small closed tear at the top. The rear panel is a little dusty, but it is nice crisp copy.
