Description: First edition; 8vo; original cloth boards and dust jacket. From the Edmund Blunden family library, with an inscription on the front free endpaper, "To dear Philip, with good wishes for his buffday and remembering what he did for me. Michael. Clare is meant to look at this too". Clare is Blunden's daughter and Philip her husband. A fine copy, with the top of the text block a little dusty. The dust jacket is good, faded to the spine which is also chipped at the head and foot.
